I have a passion for online learning with a career spanning the corporate sector (UK and Australia), business ownership and Higher Education. I have extensive senior management experience preceded by practical experience, including business process & change management, learning design, business development, project management, financial management and marketing.

Recently employed by the University of Leeds as Director, Digital Education Service, I was responsible for external learning channels including FutureLearn and Coursera. Managing a team of more than 100, my priority was the leadership of a team of five Executive Managers.

The Service has responsibility for the design and development of professional and innovative online courses, modules and programmes delivered on external platforms and the university virtual learning environment. This is coupled with the implementation and support for a range of digital education systems to support learning and teaching. Supported learning journeys include fully online degrees, cross discipline credit-bearing blended learning modules, short courses to support personal development and recruitment, as well as major professional learning contracts for corporate clients.

This was an exciting role working with a talented team of digital education professionals who have been recognised for their excellence though a number of industry awards.
